The suitor of the youngest sister, Kiki, Markos Spyropoulos, who is a building contractor, decides to bring order to the house. Already living there are Barbara's lazy future husband, Tryfonas, and Theodora's fiancé, Pantelis, who is a lifelong student. Filio is sent to Australia to find a groom, but she returns on the same ship to finally marry a middle-aged man, Prokopis.
